MKT250 Journal - Week 8

Week 8 has been a blessed relief, with a lighter load than previous weeks. This week we focused on refining our ads for Google - learning about what comprises a good headline and description - and other than a discussion board, that was pretty much it!

Figuring out the right headlines was an interesting exercise. I had to go through the keyword finder to narrow down the best choices, and since my budget for the ads is going to be pretty small I had to choose headlines that had the highest amount of traffic with the lowest amount of competition from other creators.

I've constructed some keyword lists before, but this one was much more in depth. I'm really hoping that I've been able to strike a good balance between popular keywords and enough of a budget that the ads will be able to show up anywhere.

I'm currently working on reviewing curriculum from some independent creators, and I am really excited about being able to work with these materials. I'm starting a new reading curriculum with my kids on Monday so I can review it properly and see how it lands with special needs kiddos. I'm hoping that it will help my dyslexic children develop an enjoyment of reading.
